THE ROUTE TO CHARLIE'S JOURNEY

After her son, Charlie, was diagnosed with autism at the age of 3, Nina Gordon sought out programs that catered to children on the autism spectrum. What she discovered was that the programs were either extremely expensive, or provided services that were not helpful.  As a result of this, Nina founded Charlie's Journey, in April 2014.  The goal of Charlie's Journey is to not only provide valuable activities for children on the spectrum, but to also develop a community of support for and with parents of autistic children.

Charlie's Journey is always seeking volunteers to assist in accomplishing it's goals. Volunteers must be aged 15 years and up and reside in the Metro Detroit area.
